Born in Scotland of Welsh parents, Elinor is a hybrid of two Celtic cultures. In 2014 she gained a BA (Hons) Scots Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and in 2016 completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama whilst also gaining an ARIAM (Teaching) diploma with honours (Dublin). She has competed successfully as a composer and performer in many festivals over the years and in 2015 won the prestigious Interceltique Trophée de Camac Harpe in Lorient, Brittany. Elinor, who now works as a freelance musician, believes music should be available to all and is a natural teacher and performer.
