£72

Five day courses

Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 1.5 hours each day

Monday: 1 hour (unless otherwise stated)

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED

The “swing” is a key to advancing your understanding and style in music. In this course, you’ll learn some of the most important swings in Breton music such as in An dro, Hanter-dro and other typical Breton dances even if you’ve never played Breton music before. Tunes will be taught by ear and phrase by phrase and we will learn arrangements and variations. The only way to feel the swing of a tune is to experience it with other people, so come and be part of this course. Emphasis will be on playing by ear. Bring a recording device too. Written music to take away.
